What to include, depending on why you are writing
A correction or a factual dispute
This is the mail we most want. Send the URL of the page, quote the sentence you think is wrong, and tell us what the correct figure or claim is. If you have a source — a spec sheet, a standard, a manual, a regulator’s page — include it. We check corrections against primary sources rather than taking either side on trust, and we will tell you what we concluded either way. When we change an article we note the change and the date at the foot of it.
A question about choosing something
Tell us the constraint, not just the category. “Which air purifier?” is hard to answer; “a 320-square-foot bedroom, cat allergy, needs to run overnight without waking me” is answerable, because it tells us the room volume, the particle size that matters and the noise ceiling. We cannot tell you which model to buy — we do not test models — but we can tell you which specification decides it and what number you should be looking for.
Press, research or permission to quote
Quote freely with a link; you do not need to ask. If you want to reproduce a whole guide, a table or a diagram, write first and say where it will appear.
Advertising and commercial inquiries

We do not publish sponsored posts, paid reviews, paid placement in a guide, or guest articles with embedded links, and we do not accept free product in exchange for coverage.
