Alinekart publishes general consumer information about products and the specifications and standards that describe them. It is a publication, not a shop: we do not sell products, take orders, process payments, hold stock or arrange delivery, and we are not a party to any purchase you make elsewhere.
2. Information, not advice
Everything here is general information. It is not professional, technical, legal, financial or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified person who can inspect your actual situation.
In particular, work on electrical circuits, gas appliances, plumbing, ventilation ducting or the structure of a building should be carried out or at least approved by a licensed professional in your jurisdiction. Local codes differ, and an article written for a general audience cannot account for your specific installation. Health questions belong with a clinician.

We research carefully and cite our sources, and our Editorial and Review Policy describes the standard we hold ourselves to. We cannot guarantee that every statement is complete, current or error-free.
Product specifications change without notice. Manufacturers revise models, reformulate materials, alter certifications and discontinue lines. Standards themselves are amended. Before you buy anything on the strength of something you read here, verify the specification on the product you are actually buying, from the manufacturer or retailer. That check is yours to make.
